I'm Back Bay-Bee

Dear Friends,

Guess who's back? back again. The Hamburglar's back, tell your friends.

Well, I have decided to get back into blogging again. I have been out of the game since October 2012, so a lot has changed since then. I still plan on posting a lot about food but I might also touch on a little music here and there. Who knows what might happen. You have to give the people what they want, am I right?

Since it has been a over three years since my last post, here is a quick Q&A sesh to get caught up with me.

Q: Why are you deciding to do this again?
A: I love peer pressure and got a new laptop.

Q: Is your cholesterol still 255?
A: No, last time I got it checked it was 176.

Q: Are you going to be at least a little critical in your reviews this go-around?
A: Watch out Jackson! The burglar is on the prowl this time so don't mess up or I will expose you.

Q: What are your favorite restaurants in the Jackson Metro right now?
A: Manship, Aladdin, Mayflower, Mexikali Taqueria, and Krilakis

Q: What is your favorite thing to cook at home?
A: Taco Tuesday -- you just can't beat a fiesta night with Tortilla Land Tortillas #gamechanger.

Q: What is your favorite thing to cook on a stay at home gameday?
A:  Nachos, BBQ Nachos that is. (see:BBQ Nachos)

Q: Why do most Popeyes establishments not serve breakfast anymore?
A: First off, I am so glad you asked this question. I have been wondering this for years, because it's hands down the best biscuit in the fast food biz. I am really sorry if you never got to experience a Popeyes breakfast biscuit in your elementary days. I recently lucked up and found a Popeyes still in the breakfast biz and it was everything I remembered it to be back in the early 90s when times were good.

Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Biscuit -- Oxford, Miss.
Q: What are you listening to right now?
A: Leon Bridges, Susan Tedeschi, The Oh Hellos, Youth Lagoon

Stay tuned,
